Once fitted, the ladder cannot be used without the stabiliser bar. The ladder has thicker box section stiles than cheaper alternatives, which makes the ladder stiffer, less likely to twist and longer-lasting. This ladder comes with a 3 year warranty that gives me a peace of mind that my money is safe, althought the quality of the ladder does speak for itself but the 3 year warranty is an added relief
