Lyte
Lyte Ladders were established in 1947 and have been manufacturing aluminium ladders in South Wales ever since. They make a complete range of access equipment, from steps all the way up to scaffold towers with everything in between. We supply a wide selection of Lyte's products and they are always working on new designs and products.
One of Lyte's claims to fame is that during the 1953 ascent of Everest a Lyte ladder was used to traverse a crevasse encountered on the climb, that it is still believed to be their is testiment to the build quality of Lyte's products. Some of their unique products are their range of fibreglass access equipment. The Fibreglass wide step is an excellent cross-over from standard steps to warehouse steps and are fitted with double handrails for extra safety, while they produce a fibreglass extension ladder used by British Telecom linesmen to access telegraph poles.
